Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that tonight’s gatherings of citizens are not against “blockers,” but against blockades and violence, and that they are not being organized by the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), although a large part of the SNS’s supporters will attend.

“The blockers have no faces, but are hiding, because they have nothing to offer and provide. Citizens feel insecure and demand a return to safety and stability,” Vučić said.

Regarding the claims that four judges have said they will no longer prosecute participants in blockades, Vučić stated that there are not only four of them.

“Hundreds of judges and prosecutors will not prosecute them, because they are waiting for their moment. They are waiting to win and become very important. But, you have the right to a political assessment,” Vučić stated.

He announced that a change in the tactics and behavior of state bodies will be seen.

“We will start taking certain measures in a different way. Some things will be visible, some will be less visible at first, but the results will be visible,” Vučić said.

“People have created a fairy tale about students, but when you ask them who will govern the country and its problems and guarantee stability and security,” they have no answer, Vučić stated, adding the claim: “When the blockers show their faces, and at some point they will have to, the fairy tale will come to an end.”
