U.S. President Donald Trump has declared that the Moon belongs to the United States and unveiled a new design for U.S. Space Force uniforms. He shared the posts on the social media platform Truth Social, after which the White House also released an AI-generated video depicting Trump as the superhero Green Lantern.
“The Moon is ours”
Trump posted an enlarged photograph of the Moon with planet Earth in the background on the Truth Social platform. Alongside the photo, he wrote “The Moon is ours” and added the American flag emoji.

In a separate post, he unveiled the official uniform of the U.S. Space Force. The gray-and-black uniform consists of a charcoal-colored jacket with a collar, trousers with a black belt, black boots and a cap.
The post states that the design was inspired by the functionality of the uniforms from the film “Starship Troopers,” but modernized for the “guardians of the space domain.”
White House AI video
The White House posted an AI-generated video on the social media platform X showing Trump emitting green light from a power ring.
The video was inspired by DC Comics and their fictional intergalactic organization, the Green Lantern Corps.
The superhero’s oath was also posted alongside the footage: “In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil’s might beware my power… Green Lantern’s light!”
Space Force just might get a uniform that looks like it means business.

Trump as a superhero
The AI footage shows President Trump turning a glowing green ring and using its light to stop immigration.
In another scene, Trump stands atop a rocky hill and directs the same green light over an industrial landscape with the words “American Manufacturing.”
Social media users reacted with disbelief.
