The search for Jovan Palatinus, who went missing three days ago, has unfortunately ended tragically, as Kurir has learned. The young man’s body was found in his vehicle, which was pulled today from the DTD canal near Grebenac, in the vicinity of Pančevo.

Jovan was last seen on the night between December 27 and 28, when he left a party in Vršac at 2:45 a.m. After that, contact with him was lost, and his family and friends began an intensive search. Unfortunately, the search ended tragically, as the vehicle was found in a deep canal, and the young man’s body was inside the car.

According to information from the scene, police and rescue services pulled the vehicle out of the water today, and suicide is suspected.

  • The body of the young man was found today after three days of searching for him; it is suspected that it was a suicide, however, more will be known after the autopsy – a Kurir source says unofficially.

The family and friends of the deceased young man are devastated by the loss, and on social media many shared emotional messages of support for the Palatinus family.

  • Jovan was a beloved person, an exceptionally kind and hardworking young man. We feel immense sadness over his death and pray that the family finds the strength to overcome this terrible loss – one post said.
