The celebrated basketball coach Dusko Vujosevic was buried in the Alley of Distinguished Citizens at the New Cemetery in Belgrade.
Previously, family, friends, colleagues, former players, and people from the world of basketball said their farewells to Vujosevic at a commemoration.

Present at the funeral, among others, were actor and director Dragan Bjelogrlic, Partizan footballers led by coach Srdjan Blagojevic, former basketball players Darko Milicic and Zarko Zecevic, basketball agent Miodrag Raznatovic, Dubai basketball players Dzanan Musa, Filip Petrusev, and Klemen Prepelic, football coach Aleksandar Jankovic, as well as politicians Boris Tadic, Ivica Dacic, Srdjan Milivojevic, Savo Manojlovic, and Zoran Lutovac.

On behalf of the Vujosevic family, a speech was delivered by the former President of Serbia, Boris Tadic.
“I think it is an honor for everyone who came here to see off a great man. I knew none better. Dule dedicated his life to Partizan. Thanks to Partizan for seeing Dule off as he deserved, with dignity and much emotion. Special thanks to the Partizan fans, for the love you shared with the General for the club. I hope this city will earn having a street bear the name of Dusko Vujosevic. That is the least this city can do for him,” Tadic said.
In addition to those who knew him personally, a large number of Partizan fans and admirers of the decorated coach’s life and work also said their farewells to Vujosevic.
Dusko Vujosevic passed away on April 8 at the age of 67.
