TERRIBLE ACCIDENT NEAR BELGRADE: Grandfather Runs Over Baby With Tractor in Family Yard, Doctors Fighting for Child’s Life!

A horrific accident occurred yesterday around 6 p.m. in the Belgrade settlement of Begaljica, in the municipality of Grocka, where a one-and-a-half-year-old boy was seriously injured. Doctors are currently fighting to save his life, Telegraf.rs has learned.

According to available information, the unimaginable tragedy took place in the yard of a family home when the child’s grandfather started a tractor in order to attach a piece of agricultural equipment. At that moment, under circumstances that have not yet been fully clarified, the toddler found himself near the heavy vehicle.

The child’s father, apparently unaware that his son was nearby, moved the tractor and ran over him.

Father and Grandfather Were in the Yard

As reported, both the father and grandfather were with the child at the time of the accident. It remains unclear how the boy managed to get so close to the tractor’s wheels without being noticed.

“Everything happened in a matter of seconds. The grandfather only wanted to attach the machinery, and no one saw when the little boy approached the vehicle. Then came a scream, and the family immediately rushed to help the child,” a source close to the investigation said.

The injured boy was first taken urgently to a local health center. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was then transported by ambulance to a hospital, where doctors are making every effort to save his life.

Police conducted an on-site investigation to determine all the circumstances surrounding this tragic accident, which has shocked the Grocka community.
