Students from Serbia won two bronzes at the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad in Beijing. From the Second International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad in Beijing, the team from Serbia returned with two bronze medals.
In a competition of 284 competitors from over sixty countries from all continents, the four-member team of high school students from Serbia achieved a notable result.
The Serbian team brought home two bronzes from the International Olympiad in Beijing
The bronze medals were won by Aleksa Bolić, a fourth-year student at the “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” High School in Novi Sad, and Filip Kilibarda, a first-year student at the Mathematical High School in Belgrade.
Commendations were given to Andrej Tetkić, a third-year student at the “Mihajlo Pupin” Electrical Engineering School in Novi Sad, and Veljko Galović, a second-year student at the “Veljko Petrović” High School in Sombor.
The mentors of the Serbian team were Vladimir Milovanović and Ivan Radivojević from the Faculty of Engineering Sciences at the University of Kragujevac, who was also the team leader in China.
The Second International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad in Beijing began on August 2.
