STATEMENT LIKELY TO CAUSE UPROAR: “If the US has a right to Greenland, then Serbia has a right to Republika Srpska”!

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated yesterday that everything has an alternative, including Europe, adding that if the United States of America has the right to Greenland, then Serbia has the right to Republika Srpska.

Dodik referred to recent announcements by the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump, who expressed a desire for Greenland to become part of the United States, despite Greenland being a self-governing autonomous territory under the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Denmark.

“Whenever one of us mentions borders, they jump and say: ‘Borders must not be touched.’ Borders are like a sacred Indian cow. How can they move borders now? How can they move that world but not Republika Srpska? On January 9, 1992, at the assembly, the basic idea was an independent state, not an entity. If the Americans say that for Slovenians and Croats, it wasn’t secession but a fact on the ground, wasn’t Republika Srpska also a fact on the ground? Why did you bring us back into this nonsense called Bosnia and Herzegovina? If Greenland and Canada are possible, if East and West Germany were possible, why can’t Republika Srpska join Serbia? Then Russia also has the right to Ukraine,” RTRS reports.

Trump, who assumes office on January 20, stated last week that U.S. control over Greenland is “absolutely necessary” and did not rule out using military or economic measures, such as tariffs against Denmark, to achieve this.

Dodik emphasized that Europe lacks leadership and that many countries valuing their sovereignty will naturally oppose Brussels as a center “imposing already failed values.”

He described the European Union today as sidelined in global events, economically and politically weakened, facing growing resistance from countries that value their sovereignty. Poor leadership, he said, has led to poor decisions, with the consequences of their failed policies most evident in the fact that Germany is now the world’s tenth-largest economy, down from fourth, while Russia has risen to fourth from eighth.

“Europe no longer exists; no one asks it anything anymore. They have no leader. They don’t even govern their own countries anymore, let alone the European Union. Having Baerbock as the European leader is a humiliation for European civilization, for her to dictate policy toward Russia and claim it’s normal to cut off energy supplies to the EU. What did you achieve? Countries that value sovereignty naturally oppose Brussels, which imposes already failed values. What about human rights? All violated. What about the rule of law? Should I bring you to Bosnia and Herzegovina and ask where Schmidt came from if the rule of law applies? Europe has no raw materials and, apart from accumulated rights, it has nothing. If they had any sense, they would never have allowed a conflict with Russia,” Dodik said.
