The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Toronto Raptors in the first game of the first round of the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs with a score of 126:113, in a match that Darko Rajaković, as well as the entire NBA league, will remember forever.
Although Toronto suffered a defeat, this match remains historical for Serbian basketball because Darko Rajaković became the first head coach from outside the USA to lead a team in the NBA playoffs.
Cleveland gained the key advantage in the third quarter with a 21:8 run, which broke the game. The most efficient in the winning team was Donovan Mitchell with 32 points, while Max Strus added 24, and Evan Mobley 17 points.
In the ranks of the Raptors, RJ Barrett stood out with 24 points scored.
The next duel is scheduled for April 21, and Cleveland is the host once again. The series is played to four wins.
