Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, the presidents of America and Russia, have met in Alaska for a historic summit that could last up to six hours. The main topic is ending the war in Ukraine, but representatives from Kyiv and Europe will not participate in the summit.
Trump personally greeted Putin in Alaska; you can see what that looked like HERE.
The drive lasted about ten minutes, during which the two were able to talk face-to-face.
The rest of the meeting, which just began, will be “3 on 3,” as both presidents will have the “support” of their most important associates.
The Russian delegation is represented by: Vladimir Putin, President of Russia; Sergei Lavrov, Head of Diplomacy; and Yuri Ushakov, Presidential Aide.
The American delegation is represented by: Donald Trump, President of America; Marco Rubio, Secretary of State; and Steve Witkoff, Special Envoy.
