A driver plowed into a crowd of people in Philadelphia on Sunday evening as they were leaving an American football playoff game, injuring three pedestrians, the local police reported.
The driver was arrested, and according to initial findings, the act of driving into the crowd was intentional, Philadelphia police stated, as reported by the Associated Press.

According to media reports cited by the Philadelphia police, the victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The car struck a large crowd near the city’s historic center around 9:30 PM, following a game at the “Lincoln Financial Field” stadium.
Philadelphia police confirmed that the driver is in police custody.
