Dušan Mandić, the best Serbian water polo player, gave a statement after the Serbian national team’s new gold, and during his words we could hear the entire Arena chanting his first and last name.

“It couldn’t be better. It’s hard to imagine it being better. It’s incredibly difficult to beat a top team twice. I’m extremely proud, I’ve never experienced anything like this. Congratulations to the guys on the win, and also to the Hungarians for the fight and the medal. They are the second-best team, from Varga to the head coach, who is my club coach. Truly an unreal achievement,” Mandić said.

An RTS reporter showed what each of Mandić’s goals looked like from his perspective, and the Serb replied briefly: Thank you!
