The Special Prosecution has suspended the investigation against Dušan Milanović from Leposavić, the owner of the company VIM info in the Kosovo system, which is the founder of the Kosovo Online portal, due to a lack of reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal acts he was charged with, confirmed his lawyer Dejan Vasić.
“Finally, at the end of this year, some good news. The Special Prosecution has suspended the investigation against Dušan Milanović due to a lack of reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal acts he was charged with from the very beginning,” said Vasić.
He reminded that Milanović was charged with serious criminal acts.
“It concerned an attack on the constitutional order and terrorism. The prosecutor confirmed what both Dušan and I emphasized from the start – that there was no evidence that he was involved in the events related to the Ibar-Lepenac canal,” Vasić stated.

According to him, by making such a decision, Milanović has been completely cleared of all suspicion.
“After this decision, he is a free man and neither he nor his family have to worry about anything related to that investigation anymore,” Vasić pointed out.
As he added, the investigation into the events at the Ibar-Lepenac canal has, on the other hand, led to the indictment of three persons for direct participation in the events.
“I am sure that my colleagues, who are defending them before the court, will succeed in proving their innocence as well,” Vasić concluded.
Milanović was detained on November 30 last year, after which he was ordered into police custody for 48 hours, under suspicion of allegedly committing the criminal act of “terrorism.” He was released from custody on December 2.
