Enes Džogović from the State University of Novi Pazar (DUNP) addressed the gathered crowd with a powerful and emotional message.
“Thank you so much, Novi Sad, for such a welcome. I would like to ask for a round of applause for my colleagues, my second family from DUNP! When we started this journey, everyone thought we were crazy and that we wouldn’t make it, but we did thanks to the people of Serbia. At the beginning, we didn’t even have police escort, no equipment, just sneakers on our feet, crazy heads, and the motivation and goal that brought us here. Wherever we stopped, people came out to meet us and gave us whatever we needed, and that is a clear message of solidarity, something that can never be taken from us. These people behind me are not just colleagues, they are my family. As they cannot divide us, they cannot divide Serbia either. Every one of our steps is a step toward a better Serbia and a better future for all of us! We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you, and thank you so much for that — together we will win,” Džogović emphasized.

He added that today the Council of the State University of Novi Pazar once again elected Žana Dolićanin as rector.
“The same one who forcibly expelled students from the faculty with hired thugs, the same one who doesn’t even have a high school diploma! We will not give up, nor will we allow such figures to remain in any institution! We only ask you not to forget the people who had very little but gave everything for this struggle. People of Serbia, do not forget the victims of this regime and of Novi Sad! We will not allow this to ever happen again. Thank you so much!” said the student from DUNP.
