Dijana Hrka, who has been on a hunger strike in front of the National Assembly for four days, told N1 that she feels well, but she posed a question to the authorities – whether it is true that the police officer who offered her condolences was fired, and that “that is a shame and a disgrace.”
Hrka asked if it is true that the police officer who offered her condolences was fired, and that if this is true, the person who did it should be ashamed.
“If the police officer who offered me condolences was fired, that is a shame and a disgrace. He didn’t do anything wrong, he approached me and offered condolences. Since I saw it on social media, I don’t know who the man is, but if he was fired because he offered me condolences, shame on the person who fired him,” Hrka said.
She also posed a question to the authorities: whom is the police protecting – the people in Ćaciland or her.
“I have one complaint about the police. The police won’t react to laser provocations; a few times it was directly on me, they were looking for me with a laser, a few times it was directly in my eyes. I asked the police here on our left side, none of them wanted to react, while the officers on the right side did react. If they want us to maintain peace, everyone must cooperate,” Hrka said, adding that when someone shines lasers from the other side of the fence, the police immediately react, which, as she says, “is not right, that is not the police.”
She says she is well and “doesn’t think about food,” although she does feel weak sometimes because her energy drops, as she says.
“Sometimes I really feel bad, but I try not to let people notice, for them to understand that I am fine. As long as I am fine, we will all be fine,” Hrka said.
She also commented on the unofficial gathering of government supporters that is supposed to be held in Belgrade today, and said she does not believe the claims of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, that he “knows nothing about that gathering.”
“I would ask the President how he knows nothing about what is happening in the last two days, when until now he was informed about everything. He boasted about the people coming to him from Kosovo, so what now, he doesn’t know if they are coming today? He announced a rally in Novi Sad, it was postponed, we know for what reasons, he should stop lying to himself and us. Primarily not to himself, because he can’t lie to us anymore,” says Dijana Hrka. She says she knows that a large “number of ćacias” are expected in front of the Constitutional Court, but that is not important because students from Niš and Novi Pazar are coming today to camp with her in front of the National Assembly, which, as she says, is the only thing that matters to her.
“It means we have united and that we can win with our love,” Hrka said.
