Britons have always tried to dispute Novak Đoković’s achievements and his status as the greatest tennis player ever, but now they’ve finally admitted it.
Novak Đoković finished this year’s Wimbledon in the semifinals after being defeated by Jannik Sinner in three sets, with Sinner later going on to win his first London Grand Slam title.
Afterward, BBC journalists held a poll to choose the greatest tennis player of all time, the so-called GOAT. By almost all existing parameters, Đoković is the greatest tennis player ever.

Nadal received no votes, leaving only the Serb and the Swiss in contention.
Đoković was chosen as the greatest ever with four votes, while Federer received two.
