Body found in Zrenjanin
The body of a so far unidentified person was found this morning a little after 6:30 AM at the “Peskara” swimming area in Zrenjanin.
The body was noticed in the water by passers-by who immediately called the police. It was pulled out and handed over to the ambulance crew that came to the scene, but the doctors could only pronounce death.
Members of the Zrenjanin fire and rescue unit also came to the scene with one vehicle with a boat and three rescuers who pulled the body out.
Also, the body of a motorcyclist was found in Železnik, who was hit by someone who then fled the scene.
Several stabbings
M. S. (25) was stabbed around midnight in Zvezdara.
As Telegraf.rs has learned, he was stabbed twice in the back.
The young man did not want to cooperate with the police and said that six unknown people approached him from behind and that is why he could not see them. The competent prosecutor’s office has also been informed about the case.
The same evening, S. B. (25) was stabbed in front of a catering establishment in Skadarlija.
As Telegraf.rs has learned, a physical conflict occurred last night when S. B. was leaving one of the establishments together with F. S. (20) and S. J. (20). They were attacked by a group of young men dressed in black.
During the conflict, S. B. sustained serious injuries – he was stabbed in the thigh and stomach. The other two young men were slightly injured.
They were transported to the Emergency Center by ambulance.
Namely, the attacked young men stated while giving their statement that there “was a misunderstanding about the girls who were in the establishment,” and that they were later attacked in front of it because of that.
Horrific traffic accident, a girl’s arm was amputated
Three female citizens of Austria of Turkish origin were injured in a serious traffic accident that happened yesterday morning on the Pirot-Niš highway.
The accident occurred when a “Nissan” car with Austrian license plates hit a concrete overpass and then skidded into a ditch by the road.
The driver (55) and two passengers, aged 29 and 18, were injured. The oldest woman was kept for further monitoring after an examination by an emergency medicine specialist at the UKC Niš.
The 29-year-old passenger sustained facial injuries and was transferred to the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery after being cared for in resuscitation.
The youngest passenger (18) suffered the most severe injuries – doctors at the Niš Clinical Center had to amputate her arm. After an emergency operation, she was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Clinic for Anesthesia and Intensive Therapy.
During the investigation, traffic on this section was not suspended, and the competent prosecutor’s office was informed about the event. For now, there is no official information about the causes of the accident.
