The Consulate General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Chicago yesterday, in cooperation with the Investment-Development Bank of Republika Srpska (IRBRS), organized the “Invest Srpska” forum, which presented investment opportunities in Republika Srpska to the gathered investors and entrepreneurs at the prestigious “Union League Club”.
After the introductory speech by Consul General Tatjana Telic, who welcomed the guests and explained the reasons for organizing such an event, the Director of IRBRS Nedeljko Coric addressed the audience, calling on business people from America to take advantage of the favorable business climate and legal frameworks for investments in Republika Srpska and invest in projects whose realization is expected in the near future.
This was followed by a presentation of the mentioned projects, including, among others, the Gondola that would connect Pale with the Olympic beauty, Mount Jahorina.
After the official part, a cocktail reception followed where ideas were exchanged, professional experiences were shared, and opportunities for future cooperation were discussed.
The “Invest Srpska” forum brought together representatives of the Consulate, institutions, companies, and entrepreneurs from the United States of America and Republika Srpska in one place, and the first impressions are that this event will soon yield its first results, and that investments in the Serb entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina will intensify.
