Serbian students in the diaspora have called on citizens living outside the homeland to gather tomorrow across the world in a sign of support for the student movement.

“One year after the student request for the calling of snap parliamentary elections, cities around the world are gathering in a sign of support,” the students stated on Instagram.

They sent a message that the way out of the social crisis lies in calling for elections, as the only remaining institutional solution.

“Come to hear the voice of the students and sign your online support for our struggle,” the students emphasized.

In the United States of America, gatherings have been announced in New York, Washington, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle, Nantucket, and Austin; in Canada in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, and Edmonton; and in Australia in Melbourne and Brisbane.

When it comes to Europe, students have called for gatherings in Berlin, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Munich, Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg, Paris, Strasbourg, Toulouse, Rome, Trieste, Florence, Milan, London, Cambridge, Cork, Dublin, Geneva, Zurich, Brussels, Utrecht, Valletta, Lisbon, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Prague, Reykjavik, Athens, and Copenhagen.
