The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has decided to call early presidential elections in Republika Srpska for November 23.
The Central Election Commission of B&H, with two votes against, has called early elections for the president of Republika Srpska for November 23 of this year.
The C.E.C. of B&H made the decision to call early elections for the president of Republika Srpska despite the fact that the process against Dodik has not reached its executive phase.
The Central Election Commission of B&H made this decision after previously revoking Dodik’s mandate based on the final judgment of the Appellate Panel of the Court of B&H, by which the president of Republika Srpska was sentenced to one year in prison and a six-year ban on engaging in political activities.
Dodik was convicted for disrespecting the decisions of the illegitimate High Representative in B&H, Christian Schmidt.
Officials of Republika Srpska do not recognize the decision to revoke President Dodik’s mandate, and the National Assembly of Republika Srpska has, in the meantime, called a referendum on which the people will vote on the actions of the Court of B&H towards Dodik on October 25.
