Students will not run for office, because we know the responsibility of being in such positions, but the people who are currently in power obviously do not understand, and therefore we will support people whom we consider credible and who we think will represent the voice of the people properly, stated Sofija Perić, a student at the Faculty of Political Sciences, today.
In a statement for Nova S television, Sofija Perić emphasized that students made their demands five months ago, when they addressed institutions with the desire for the system to function, but after so much time it is clear that the government will not fulfill the students’ demands.
“We believe that it is crucial to change the government, because for our demands to be met, a change of government is a prerequisite, and the government should confirm its legitimacy in the elections, if it believes it has it in this society,” said Sofija Perić.
