Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić received valuable gifts from Russian President Vladimir Putin, with whom he met in Moscow, including the book “Russian Pantheon.
Benefit, Honor and Glory,” a two-volume edition in Serbian about personalities who have entered the history of the two countries, Serbia and and Russia.
Among the gifts is a combat gift set consisting of a Shpagin submachine gun, a bayonet knife, a mug and a flask, as well as a “Pobeda-80” wristwatch, which was made in a watch factory in Saint Petersburg in a limited edition of 80 copies specially for the eightieth anniversary of the Great Victory.
Also, Vučić received Russian wines as a gift, from the “Abrau-Durso” company, which is Russia’s leading wine producer, recognized worldwide.
The President of Serbia attended the parade in Moscow on Friday, marking 80 years since the liberation in World War II.
He stated that he had a long, open, substantial, and sincere conversation with the Russian president about all aspects of bilateral cooperation and that he was satisfied with the results of the talks, the attention paid to the Serbian delegation in Russia, as well as the respect shown towards Serbia.
