A protest march was held in North Mitrovica today regarding the arrest of minor Serbs, which occurred two days ago.
Several hundred citizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the aggressive actions of the so-called Kosovo police during the arrest, after which minors were mistakenly arrested, according to their parents, leaving them frightened and traumatized.
The protest began around 11:00 AM in front of the police station in North Mitrovica, where several dozen citizens gathered, including the parents of the arrested teenagers. However, as they began the protest march, many citizens who were in the center of North Mitrovica joined the column.
The march to the main bridge on the Ibar was monitored by the so-called Kosovo police, to whom the gathered citizens whistled and shouted “Boo,” “Gang,” “Occupiers,” and “We want freedom.”
