The Gaza Ministry of Health announced today that at least 46,565 Palestinians have been killed and 109,660 wounded since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023.
In the last 24 hours, at least 28 Palestinians were killed, the Ministry stated, adding that Israeli attacks on schools converted into shelters have continued.
According to Al Jazeera, an Israeli attack on a school in Jabalia, in northern Gaza, resulted in the deaths of at least eight people.
The school had been serving as a shelter for displaced Palestinians, and among the dead were children. Dozens of injured people were taken to Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City.
The Gaza Civil Protection Agency reported that Israel has killed at least 70 Palestinian children over the past five days. The agency did not provide details on the ages of the victims, stating only that they were killed in attacks on several areas across the enclave.
