About ten masked attackers brutally beat up four war veterans and the owner of the bar where they were sitting in Belgrade, after they filmed a military police unit and yelled at them: “Pump it!” and told them that they looked beautiful without masks. The retaliation was brutal.
The video shows the military police unit “Cobras” lined up at a traffic light, waiting for the green light to cross, in an orderly manner, at the pedestrian crossing on Liberation Boulevard. What they did not expect was that the war veterans would set up an “ambush” for them, who have been commenting on their actions in recent months, especially recently in Novi Sad, when they were providing security for the president of the Serbian Progressive Party, Miloš Vučević, in the premises of the Serbian Progressive Party, and then fled from the angry citizens.
“Come on, pump it! Well done, guys, take care of our children…. You look nice now without masks… Brave guys, huh? Well done, well done! Well done, cobras! How was it in Novi Sad, huh? Nice, nice… Well done! Pump it! Pump it! Well done, cobras! You want it to be like in Novi Sad again, huh? But just take off your masks… Be worthy of it… You a**holes!”, can be heard on the recording.
After that video, everyone went their separate ways, the “Cobras” marched off to where they were headed, and the war veterans sat down in a nearby bar.

However, around 7 p.m., about ten masked and armed attackers broke into the bar and started beating the war veterans, as well as the owner of the bar who was with them, with baseball bats and telescopic batons.
“They attacked the people who were sitting at the table right from the door, they hit some of them from behind. Five people were injured, it is suspected that two of them suffered serious bodily injuries. They were given help at the Military Medical Academy,” lawyer Predrag Marković, who represents some of the beaten veterans, told the Nova.rs portal.
The police conducted an investigation at the scene, took the data from the attacked people, and today they should go to the Savski Venac Police Station and give statements. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not made a statement on this occasion.
