Teodora Injac, Serbian chess player, won the gold medal at the European Championship in classical chess in the individual category held in Rhodes, Greece.
Although she started the competition with a loss to Anastasia Kirtadze from Georgia, the 24-year-old from Belgrade quickly found a fantastic rhythm.
After a victory over Lilit Mkrtchian from Armenia, she secured eight more consecutive wins, sealing the gold medal with a triumph against Irina Bulmaga from Romania.
She also achieved a remarkable feat, winning the title despite being the second seed for the championship.
