Rector Vladan Đokić stated that the enrollment quotas for faculties will remain the same as last year, and that from next week, calls for applications for enrollment in faculties for the next academic year will be able to be announced.
“We continued discussions with representatives of the Government of Serbia regarding the request of the academic community. We are still trying to find all solutions for the requests we submitted. Today, most of the discussion was about budget quotas for faculties, and it was agreed that these quotas would remain the same as last year,” said Đokić after the meeting in the Government of Serbia.
As he said, the Government will hold a session by the end of the week where a decision on the quotas will be made.
“Next week we will be able to announce calls for applications for the next academic year,” he added.
Đokić invited “potential candidates to follow university websites” to see when entrance exams will be held.
He said that, among other things, the request of the academic community regarding the material costs of faculties has not been resolved.
“We know that faculties have many claims, so that has not been resolved yet, a plan is being made. The request regarding Regulation 35.5 (ratio of teaching hours and scientific work) has not been resolved either; that regulation should be withdrawn,” said Đokić.
