Serbian tennis player Novak Đoković qualified for the quarterfinals of the US Open with a 3:0 victory over German Jan-Lennard Struff, with sets of 6:3, 6:3 and 6:2.
It was expected that Struff, after a great victory against Frances Tiafoe, could offer more significant resistance, but he had no chance in the match with the seventh tennis player in the world.
Đoković started the match with two breaks and a 4:0 lead in the first set, and it did not help Struff that he took his opponent’s serve in the fifth game.

The Serbian tennis player did not allow this to disturb him and easily maintained a one-break advantage until the end of the set.
In the second set, the German resisted until the seventh game, when he faltered and allowed a break, which was repeated two games later for a great advantage for the former number one on the ATP list.
The chances for a possible turnaround then disappeared, which Đoković confirmed in the third set and routinely fought for a place among the top eight at the last Grand Slam of the season.

Đoković made many more direct points and made fewer mistakes, which compensated for the fact that he did not hit his first serve in a high percentage.
In the quarterfinals, he will face a duel against the home tennis player Taylor Fritz, who also eliminated Czech Tomaš Macháč with a 3:0 score.
