The Los Angeles Clippers pulled off a break in the second game of the NBA playoff first round by defeating the Denver Nuggets 105–102 in Denver, despite a triple-double by Nikola Jokić.
A new classic, a new drama, but this time a victory for the Clippers. Unlike the first game, where Denver edged out Los Angeles in a thriller, this time the scales tipped in favor of the California team, which returns from Colorado with a break in its pocket.

It was a real spectacle—almost a full-blown brawl on the court—and everything came down to the final two minutes. There, Los Angeles handled the pressure better, thanks primarily to the incredible Kawhi Leonard, while Denver missed two three-pointers that could have forced overtime—one of them by Nikola Jokić.
Jokić finished the game with another triple-double: 26 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. Still, it’s worth noting that the Clippers played solid defense against him and made life difficult for the Serbian center. He was followed by Jamal Murray with 23 points, Michael Porter Jr. added 15 points and just as many rebounds, while Aaron Gordon and Russell Westbrook each scored 14.

For the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard was phenomenal—he scored 39 points. James Harden contributed 18, and Ivica Zubac had 16 points and 12 rebounds. Bogdan Bogdanović had another poor performance, missing all five of his shots in 15 minutes and finishing his second game without scoring.
The series now moves to California, with Game 3 scheduled for Friday night (7 PM Chicago time, 4 AM Serbian time).
