Serbia’s young mathematicians have once again proven that they belong among the world’s elite. At the prestigious international competition “Olympiad USA,” held from July 10 to 14, 2026, in Houston, Texas, the Serbian national team achieved a historic success.
Competing against students from numerous countries around the world, the Serbian high school team returned home with four medals—three gold and one bronze. The gold medals were won by Jelisaveta Srdić (Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade), Relja Dragojlović (Jovan Jovanović Zmaj Gymnasium in Novi Sad), and Marko Denda (Zrenjanin Gymnasium), while the bronze medal went to Vukašin Lužajić, also a student at Zrenjanin Gymnasium.
