Jasmina Jovanović Maca has advanced to the quarterfinals of a prestigious international competition featuring more than 200,000 artists from around the world. Making the achievement even more remarkable, her extraordinary talent has been recognized and supported by none other than legendary Hollywood actor Johnny Depp.
Jasmina’s paintings blend tradition with the modern world. Through her artwork, she uses symbols and colors to connect people, inspire positive energy, and highlight what unites us all. Her artistic expression has been shaped both by her Serbian roots and by her life in the United States, which is why her work consistently conveys messages of peace and togetherness.
If she wins the grand prize of $25,000, Jasmina already has a clear humanitarian goal in mind. She plans to invest the funds in her major project, “Bridging Worlds.” The initiative aims to bring together artists from across the globe to create collaboratively, organize free workshops and exhibitions, and help people overcome difficult life challenges through art.

The winner of this major competition will earn the title of “The People’s Artist.” Their work will be featured in Artforum, while their artwork will also be exhibited by The Art of Elysium.
