According to unofficial information, several shops on the first floor, as well as part of the roof, have been destroyed by the fire. Around 40 firefighters, supported by ten fire engines and water tankers, are currently on the scene.

So far, there have been no reports of injuries, and the cause of the fire has not yet been officially determined. Some shop owners speculate that electrical installations may have sparked the blaze, but authorities have not confirmed those claims.
