Celebrated basketball player Vlade Divac was a guest on Byron Scott’s podcast called “Fast Break”.

In addition to various basketball topics, the famous NBA ace also spoke about the upcoming football World Cup.

–I will cheer, not for my country, but for our neighbors, Bosnia. They surprised Italy in the qualifiers and it will be great to watch them at the World Cup – Divac pointed out in Byron Scott’s podcast called “Fast Break”.

The former president of the Olympic Committee of Serbia was quite confident when predicting the future champion.

–Brazil is winning the World Cup. In 95 percent of cases, national teams from the same hemisphere win, and Brazil has the highest chances – believes the 58-year-old.

During his rich career, Divac wore the jerseys of Partizan and Zvezda, and in the NBA league, he played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, and Sacramento Kings.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will play at the World Cup in Group B with one of the hosts, Canada, Switzerland, and Qatar.

In addition to the mentioned Canada, the World Cup will be played in Mexico and the USA, and it begins on June 11.
