U.S. President Donald Trumpdelivered a speech at the UN General Assembly.
“America is back and our country is stronger than ever,” U.S. President Donald Trump began his speech, and then continued:
“We have the strongest military, the most advanced technology, and our energy powers the planet. We are doing better than ever in history, and since I took office, more Americans have been employed than ever before. Last week, poverty fell to its lowest level in history. I have fulfilled everything I promised. Two years ago, our country was dead, and now it is the most successful. Two years ago, people were crossing the border illegally as they pleased, and now we have the safest borders and not a single illegal migrant has entered the country. That is why the murder rate is at its lowest level since 1900.”
Trump said he had worked to establish peace while others had merely talked about it.
“I have been involved in resolving numerous challenges and we are doing well. There is no better example than the danger posed by the fanatical Iranian regime.”
He also said that a major decision lies ahead of him regarding the continuation of the war with Iran.
“I face a big decision – to reach a deal with Iran or to destroy the Islamic Republic and not allow it to threaten others anymore. Am I going to send them to hell… There is no logic in them not agreeing to a deal, and I think they are waiting to see how the midterm elections go,” he said.
“Ended eight wars”
In his speech, Trump again claimed that he had ended eight wars, mentioning Serbia and Kosovo among them.
Trump said that during his second term he had ended or stopped eight conflicts – between Israel and Hamas, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, India and Pakistan, Serbia and Kosovo, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as Cambodia and Thailand.
He also praised his Gaza Board, claiming that it had brought peace to Gaza.
“The U.S. has more than enough ammunition”
“It is not true that we are running out of ammunition. We have more ammunition than we could ever even imagine using. We are producing ammunition in quantities we have never produced before. We are replenishing our stockpiles faster than we have ever been able to,” Trump said, responding to media reports that an ammunition shortage was slowing efforts to resolve the war with Iran.
He added that the U.S. is building new ammunition production plants.
We are working closely with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine
Speaking about the war in Ukraine, Trump said that the United States is working closely with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine.
“And we will get this finished, faster than people think,” Trump said.
“Artificial intelligence is super intelligence”
Trump also addressed the growth of artificial intelligence, saying that it should instead be called “super intelligence” and that it is extremely important who wins that race.
He said that the U.S. is currently leading the race and compared fears about artificial intelligence with fears about climate change, saying that they are exaggerated.
