Celebrated Macedonian basketball player and former Crvena zvezda player Pero Antić sparked widespread public reaction after personally escorted Andreja, the son of the late musician Vladimir Blažev – Pančo, to his elementary school graduation celebration.
Antić shared a video on social media showing himself driving Andreja to the celebration in his car, along with a photo of the two together accompanied by the message: “Happy graduation, handsome.”
The gesture resonated strongly with the public and across social media, where many praised Antić’s compassion and loyalty. Numerous commenters described the act as a symbolic message that the memory of the late musician continues to live on through his closest friends, who remain by his family’s side during life’s most important moments.
Vladimir Blažev Pančo, a member of the popular music duo DNA, and Pero Antić were known to be very close friends, and their bond was often highlighted publicly.
As a reminder, Pančo lost his life in the tragic fire at a nightclub in Kočani.
