Serbian national team member Andrea Bokan won the gold medal in the under-49 kg category at the European Senior Taekwondo Championships in Olympic categories, which are currently being held in the Swiss city of Aigle.
As the top seed, Bokan was free in the first round, and then she excelled in all subsequent matches, defeating all her opponents and advancing to the final.
In the final clash, the Serbian taekwondo athlete showed exceptional dominance and managed to defeat Irina Rogozina 2:0, achieving a historic success and becoming the European champion.
This is a major moment for Serbian taekwondo, as Bokan’s victory secured the first medal for our team at this prestigious competition.
