The son of newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump bribed homeless and socially disadvantaged citizens with dinners at hotels to “pretend” to be Trump supporters in Greenland, unnamed sources told the Danish portal dr.dk, reports Tanjug.
The sources recognized several participants from the dinner at the luxury hotel “Hans Egede” in Nuuk, Greenland, as homeless and socially vulnerable individuals, who later posed with Trump’s son wearing red MAGA (“Make America Great Again”) hats. Trump Jr. visited Greenland on Tuesday as part of Trump’s plans to gain greater control over this Danish territory.
Donald Trump Jr. posted a video on the platform X showing Greenlanders wearing MAGA hats, whom he referred to as the “local community in Nuuk,” the capital of Greenland.

However, several sources told dr.dk that some of the people appearing in the video as Trump supporters were, in fact, homeless and socially disadvantaged individuals who often gather outside the municipal enterprise in Nuuk, located directly across from the “Hans Egede” hotel.
The sources described the act of “bribing the most vulnerable residents” as “highly distasteful” and criticized Trump for using such methods to promote his agenda.
In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Donald Trump thanked the Greenlanders for treating his son and his entourage well. He also shared a video in which Greenlanders wearing MAGA hats praise him, express support for the “annexation” of Greenland by the U.S., or affirmatively respond to questions about whether they want to be part of America.
