Employees in judicial institutions across Serbia went on a full strike today due to years of ignoring their demands.

The Judicial Authority Union previously announced that the demands are for dignified salaries, improved working conditions, clear recognition of the role that administrative and professional staff have in the functioning of the judiciary, as well as an end to the systemic underestimation of their work.

They emphasize that without employees in the judicial administration, there are no hearings, no judgments, no justice. Therefore, the message of the strike is clear – the judiciary stops until the work of those who carry it every day is heard and recognized.

The Judicial Authority Union called on all employees to join the strike without exception, because only mass participation, as it stated, can ensure real results.

“Every workplace that remains empty tomorrow will be a strong sign of resistance and the fight for the respect we deserve. This is not just a fight for us – this is a fight for justice in a system that must function for everyone,” the statement concluded.

Prior to this call for a full strike, the Union of Employees of the Judicial Authority organized several warning strikes.
