The annual concert of the Serbian Singing Society “Lira” will be held on Saturday, April 25, at Saint Luke Serbian Orthodox Church in Potomac, Maryland, starting at 7:00 PM.
In addition to the hosts, the Saint Elijah Church Choir from Aliquippa (Pennsylvania) will also perform at the concert. The program will include performances of traditional Serbian choral music, and homemade food and drinks have been announced for visitors.
The organizers state that the goal of the event is the preservation and nurturing of the rich tradition of Serbian choral music, as well as connecting the community through spiritual and cultural content.

The Serbian Singing Society “Lira” operates within the Saint Luke Church in the greater Washington area and actively participates in the liturgical and cultural life of the community. The choir is a member of the Serbian Singing Federation of the United States of America and Canada.
Tickets for the concert are available online (HERE), and the organizers recommend that those interested secure them in time due to the limited number of seats.
