Adriana Vilagoš took second place at the Diamond League meeting held in Oslo.
Vilagoš threw the javelin 63.78 meters, which was enough for a silver medal.
The only one better than her was Kitaguchi Haruka, the 2023 world champion, who threw the javelin 64.63 meters in the fifth series.
The Serbian athlete was excellent, she “fired” her best throw in the third series, and after the competition she said:
“I am satisfied with second place and the feeling in my throws. This season is long, but I am patient and I believe that the best result will come when it is most important. The atmosphere in Oslo was great and I enjoyed competing with the strongest rivals in the world.”
Vilagoš thus showed that she is in great form, which is especially pleasing as the most important competition for 2025 approaches, the World Championship in Japan, scheduled from September 13 to 21.
