Dušan Milanović from Leposavić, owner of the VIM info company, which is the founder of the Kosovo Online portal, was released from custody this morning after being arrested on November 30.
Milanović was detained and held in police custody on suspicion of allegedly committing the crime of “terrorism”.
Lawyer Dejan Vasić told Kosovo Online that he is accused of managing the “Koridor” group on the “Telegram” platform.
“He is accused of managing and administering the ‘Koridor’ group on the ‘Telegram’ application. This is not true, and I have received assurances from the investigating police officers that a forensic examination of the phone will be carried out as soon as possible,” Vasić stated after the arrest.
Milanović was arrested on November 30 when about twenty members of the so-called Kosovo police, accompanied by two armored vehicles and three jeeps, broke into his home in Leposavić around 8:45 AM.

His family was told that the inspector had a warrant from the Pristina prosecutor to arrest Milanović and conduct a complete search of the house. At 9:20, Milanović was taken away, and the police searched the house.
His wife Marija and daughters, girls aged seven and eleven, went through a real trauma when the police officers with handcuffs took Dušan for questioning.
“They are children… We found it very difficult when we saw him with handcuffs. They conducted a search, and then they said they were taking him for an interview,” Marija told Kosovo Online.
She emphasized that everyone who knows Dušan knows that he is a man who always tries to help everyone in need and organizes many events for children and humanitarian actions for those in need.
“Everyone in Leposavić, and in Kosovska Mitrovica where he works, knows that Dušan is an honest man, honest, hardworking, and diligent. We are a family, and he has never done anything wrong and has never had any problems with the law,” said his wife.
