SCENE STRAIGHT OUT OF A MOVIE AT ZELENI VENAC: Bus crossed four lanes, crashed into taxis and slammed into a building – five injured!

In central Belgrade, shortly before 5 a.m. this morning, a serious traffic accident involving several vehicles occurred.

The traffic accident happened at Zeleni Venac. The accident occurred at 4:28 a.m. when the driver of a bus on route 53 lost control of the vehicle at Zeleni Venac and hit two taxis, the Emergency Medical Service said.

As can be seen in a photograph from the scene, the bus veered off the road and crossed into the opposite direction, after which it crashed into a building near the “Zeleni Venac” bus stop, in the direction of New Belgrade.

Five people were lightly injured in the accident, while a 53-year-old man and four women in their twenties were treated at the scene and transported to the Emergency Center.
