The second match of the finals of the Handball League of Serbia between Partizan and Vojvodina was interrupted after 15 minutes of play, and it was not continued. The handball players from Novi Sad did not return to the court, while the black-and-white players did, thus becoming the new-old champions of the country.
After everything, the hosts returned to the court, did their warm-up, but the players of the Old Dame did not return to the court. The referees blew the whistle for the end of the match, and the black-and-whites won the title that way. The break lasted for more than an hour, and the Vojvodina fans who were in the “Slana Bara” hall left the hall, while the black-and-white fans remained.
Therefore, the players of Vojvodina did not want to return to the court, and thus a sad end to the finals followed. Partizan celebrated in the first match with 33:27, and in the second match it was 6:5 for Vojvodina, but the result of both matches is now completely in the shadow. There will be no trophy presentation ceremony until the match is officially registered.

How did the interruption happen?
The black-and-white fans threw two stun grenades onto the court, and the referees decided to send both teams to the locker room. The first information in the “Slana Bara” hall was that the match would be continued when the part of the stands where 100 Partizan fans were was emptied, but that did not happen.
At the moment of the interruption, it was 6:5 for Vojvodina, but the fans did not leave the hall, so therefore there are no conditions for the match to continue. A scene that is not good for anyone, and whether the match will be continued is hard to say at this moment. In the first match of the final series, Partizan celebrated with a score of 33:27.
