A serious traffic accident occurred on Friday evening around 7 p.m. in Bulevar kralja Aleksandra Karadjordjevica, when, as media outlets have learned, a tram hit a child.
According to initial information obtained by the media, the accident occurred when a tram on line 7L, operated by R. Dj. (45), struck a girl, P. S. (13), for reasons that have not yet been determined.
An emergency medical team immediately provided assistance to the girl, after which she was transported to the Emergency Center, where doctors diagnosed her with light physical injuries. Following initial care, she was referred to the Institute for Mother and Child, where she was kept for further observation and additional examinations.
Police officers immediately arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation, and an inquiry, which should shed light on all the circumstances of this accident, is ongoing.
