Miroslav Mika Aleksić, director, screenwriter, and owner of the famous acting school “Stvar srca,” who was accused of sexually abusing seven female students of that school, died today after a long and serious illness, Nova.rs has learned.
Aleksić was first publicly accused five years ago, on January 16, 2021, of sexually abusing students of his acting school, including actress Milena Radulović, who came forward with allegations that he raped her when she was 17 years old.
After Milena, reports were also filed by Iva Ilinčić and several other girls who described similar horrific experiences during the years they spent at his school. The indictments included multiple criminal offenses of rape and unlawful sexual acts, and according to the indictment, the acts took place while they were his students.
The court proceedings conducted against Aleksić before the Higher Court in Belgrade were intense, lengthy, and repeatedly postponed – the most common reason being his deteriorating health condition, due to which hearings were repeatedly rescheduled or postponed indefinitely, including during 2025.
Aleksić was initially arrested on January 16, 2021, following reports by his students and spent part of the time in custody, then under house arrest, after which he later defended himself while at liberty as the proceedings dragged on for years.
His death comes before the case was finally concluded in court, leaving the process unfinished and without a verdict.
Miroslav Aleksić was born in 1952 in Belgrade.
