The actor Milan Vasić baptized his son Despot in the Gračanica Monastery on the great Orthodox holiday, Krstovdan (Exaltation of the Holy Cross). He shared some details of this very emotional act on social media.
Milan wore a shirt embroidered with the words: “Stopama predaka” (In the footsteps of ancestors), and then he also posted a poem for this important day in the Vasić family.

— “The days of our happiness have come, God granted my dream. To baptize my son in Holy Gračanica on Krstovdan. The paths of my childhood are here, my tears are joyous. It is my happiest day, I baptize my son on Krstovdan. Son, son, Despot, look, son, at all this beauty. Listen to the bells ringing, Kosmet rejoices for you, son,” stated the post shared by Milan Vasić.

The actor had previously published a photo of the garment in which the little Despot was baptized, which was specially embroidered just for this occasion. It is very important to Vasić that his son connects with the tradition and the love he himself feels for Kosovo and Metohija, where he originates from.
Emotional Wedding in Kosovo
Milan organized his wedding in Kosovo and Metohija, where he frequently spends time.

— “It was beautiful. I am glad that my wife loves Kosovo and Metohija as much as I do. I don’t force anyone to go to Kosovo, but she accepted it, and it was wonderful. It was logical for me to get engaged, married, and later baptize my children in Kosovo,” he told Blic.
