Students in the blockade announced a series of videos this morning showing how Dean Patrik Drid broke into the Novi Sad DIF. In one of the posts, they also stated details of the action in which, as they state, masked persons also participated.

“According to unconfirmed information that has just arrived, three masked persons (and maybe more) with balaclavas on their faces, broke several windows on the DIF building in Novi Sad, in the presence of Dean Patrik Drid. Then they broke into the faculty while the students were locked inside. Some of them were sleeping at the time. After that, the police came.

Two of the masked persons escaped, one was caught by a policeman, who stopped him and then let him go. This event was witnessed by a veteran of the 63rd Parachute Brigade,” the students announced on the X account FTN se budi.

Drid, together with unknown persons, broke into the DIF building around five o’clock this morning, announced the students in the blockade of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education in Novi Sad.

“Masked thugs accompanied by the police have just broken into the DIF. Come in front of the DIF,” the students said in an emergency announcement.

Currently, at the entrance of that faculty, there is a cordon of police in full anti-riot gear.

Citizens are slowly gathering.

Drid Already Tried to Break Into the DIF Once

By the way, Dean Patrik Drid tried to enter the DIF at the end of April, and when he failed, he also called the police. There was physical violence, and the police in anti-riot gear started pushing citizens back and hitting them with batons. In an attempt to drive them away from the Novi Sad faculty building, they also used pepper spray.

The matter ended with the police leaving the DIF building, while the dean, with insults and doused with water, was escorted to an ambulance.
