A group of students from Serbia won a total of eight medals at the international “Stemko” mathematics olympiad in Singapore.
Of these, three medals are gold and silver, while two are bronze.
The most brilliant medals were won by Jelisaveta Srdić and Vasilije Hadži-Purić, who are also absolute winners in their age group. Maksim Šikanić also won gold.
Dimitrije Jelić, Naum Matić, and Petar Cvetković won silver, while Milica Stanojević and Jovana Hadži-Purić won bronze.
The team consisted of students from Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Šabac, and the team was led by Professor Ivana Milošević from the Mathematical Gymnasium.
The students are from the Mathematical Gymnasium in Belgrade, the First Belgrade Gymnasium, and the “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” Gymnasium in Novi Sad, as well as students from the “Nikolaj Velimirović” Primary School in Šabac.
