Following the attack on the U.S. base in Qatar, the Iranian Armed Forces released a statement regarding the action. We are transmitting the full statement from their Telegram channel:
“Following the explicit military aggression of the criminal regime of the United States of America against the peaceful nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and a clear violation of international law, with the planning of the Supreme National Security Council and the leadership of the Central Headquarters of the Seal of the Prophets (PBUH), the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, with the holy code name of Abu Abdullah al-Hussein (PBUH), targeted the Al Udeid Base in Qatar with a devastating and powerful missile attack in Operation Besharat Fatah. This base is the headquarters of the Air Force and the largest strategic asset of the American terrorist army in the West Asia region.”

The White House and the Department of Defense are “closely monitoring” potential threats to the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, an unnamed senior White House official said.
