Three people lost their lives due to carbon monoxide poisoning in Teočak, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and many citizens gathered in front of the house where the tragedy occurred. The bodies were found by a local imam, according to “Avaz”.
A family, including a child, died after using a generator due to a power outage, which then led to carbon monoxide poisoning.
“The Teočak police administration received a report on the afternoon of December 26 that members of a household in Teočak were not leaving their house. After that, a police patrol from the Teočak police station found three bodies at the scene, and a medical examiner from the Teočak Health Center confirmed the deaths”, the police statement reads.
