“The Association of Dramatic Artists of Serbia calls on all representatives of cultural institutions in the Republic of Serbia: their directors, managers, and acting directors of these positions, to publicly and unconditionally support the students’ demands and blockades as a form of protest. Numerous individuals and artistic ensembles of theaters have already done so, and we appeal to the heads of institutions to join their employees and those actively employed, and in that way stand up for their protection. We also call on the members of the Association to persevere in supporting the students, using all legal mechanisms at their disposal.”

“As long-time partners of Radio-Television of Serbia, we demand that this house truthfully, impartially, fully, and timely inform our fellow citizens about the students’ demands and the current blockades of higher education institutions, of which there are currently around 40, thus fulfilling its role as a public media service. Any misinterpretation of the Association’s statements that deviates from their essence, as well as misuse for the purpose of inter-party discord, we consider a malicious act that further incites violence,” the statement concludes.
